All widgets can be managed under the Settings menu by clicking on the Widgets button.
Blogroll Widget
Our most popular widget by far is the blogroll. From the Widget management screen you can add links that will appear on you class blog pages. If you connecting to classes via our class sharing feature, the links to the class that follow you are automatically added to your widget. You can remove or reorder any links you create or the system creates for you.
Blog Directory
Blog directory has always been a widget in Kidblog and in our latest release we've added a new way to manage the users. If you expand the list of users on the Widget screen you can click to show or hide any names in you class. Just remember to hit the save button at the bottom of the page!
Tags
Tags are great way for authors to organize posts with custom labels. Tags are created when editing a post. The teacher can manage tags through the Review Posts page. The option to show or hide tags is on the Widget settings screen.
Categories
Categories allow teachers to create predefined topics for organizing posts. Categories are assigned when editing a post. The teacher can manage categories through the Review Posts tab in the control panel. The option to show or hide categories is on the Widget settings screen.
